ABOUT THE MISSION:

From Mulhearn Funeral Homes Obituary; He served proudly in the Army in World War II, a member of Company A, 823rd Battalion of Tank Destroyers. He landed on the shores of Omaha Beach in the first wave, on D-Day, in the invasion of France. As his division pushed into the interior of France, he was seriously wounded. A true hero to his country and his family, he received the Bronze Star for Valor in Action, and the Purple Heart. He never discussed his war experiences, only telling tales of his training.

The Patriot Guard has been asked by the family of Robert Fomby to Honor thier Hero. We will meet at 1:00 p.m. at Mulhearn Funeral Home.



PRIMARY STAGING DETAILS: 21 Jul 2017


Primary Staging Time: 1:00 P.M.
Meet at Mulhearn Funeral Home on 156 North, Monroe, La.

Ride Briefing at 1: p.m.

Then will stand a Flag line during the visitaion and funeral service. Once the service is over we will do a escort to Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum. There we will also stand a flag line during the final goodbye service.
