ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard Riders are honored to be requested by the family of WO Donald Franklin Farris, 68 a US Army Vietnam Veteran of Beltsville, MD to stand a flag line for him on 21 April 2017 at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD. WO Farris died suddenly on 16 April 2017. He proudly served this Nation during the Vietnam War as a Huey helicopter pilot. Among his many awards and commendations is the Distinguished Flying Cross. Donald was an avid supporter of the Honor Flight Network, and loved to escort buses of arriving veterans to our Nation’s Capital to view the many Veteran memorials. He was also a proud member of the MD Patriot Guard Riders.

Please bring your 3×5 flags for the flag lines at the cemetery. Bring something cold to drink to stay hydrated.

Flags Will NOT Be Provided, Please Bring Your Own.
Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
