He is a WWII Veteran who earned a purple heart.  After leaving the Army he worked for 20 years in Civil Service as a Heavy Equipment Operator. \nThe Patriot Guard has been requested to provide a flag line at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church prior to the rosary start\, followed by an escort to Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery\, and a flag line during Military Honors by the Army at the Cemetery.\n\nPRIMARY STAGING DETAILS:  18 Apr 2017\n\nPrimary Staging Time:  9:00 A.M.\nLowes GROCERY Store\n675 10th Street\nAlamogordo\, New Mexico – 88310\n  \n\nRide Captain:\nJim “Deacon Jim” Ernst\nNMPGR State Captain\njimernst@q.com\n575-430-3904\n\nSpecial Instructions:\nThe Rosary will begin at 0930 at Immaculate Conception Church\, 705 Delaware Avenue (corner of 8th Street) in Alamogordo\, NM.  Funeral Mass is at 1000. \nWe will rally at the Lowes GROCERY Store\, 675 10th Street at 0900 hours\, mission & safety briefing @ 0910 and KSU @ 0920.  I’d like to have the Flag line up by 0930 at the church. \nPlease be prepared for a long initial flag line in the morning heat and direct sunlight.  Water and flags will be provided. \nPlease do not reply if you can’t make it\, I know it’s a work day and I know you will all be there in spirit. It is strongly encouraged that everyone go to the mission thread and post a brief message of condolence/sympathy to the family on the loss of their loved one.  It is traditional that a copy of all the condolences be printed\, bound\, and given to the family as a remembrance to honor their loss.
