ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to participate in an awareness ride seeking to prevent veteran and active duty suicide. The ride is called Project 22+1. It represents the 22 Veterans and 1 active duty, that commit suicide every single day. See attachment for more information about the project and the ride.
The ride started in Yuma Arizona, September 1st and ends in Islip. New York on September 23rd. It will be at Emerald Coast Harley Davidson, Fort Walton Beach, FL from 0900 till 1200, 17 Sep. 2017 before departing for Jacksonville, FL.
The Patriot Guard Riders will stand a flag line at Emerald Coast Harley Davidson for the arrival of the ride. Riders who would like to ride a leg (or more) of their mission with them would be welcomed but that would not be a PGR mission.
Note: It is suggested that you wear long sleeve shirts, long fingered gloves, long trousers, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles, and appropriate eye wear while operating a motorcycle as part of the PGR.
