ABOUT THE MISSION:
Chief Petty Officer (PNC) Arturo Padama, 81, USN Retired, of Waldorf, MD, died 20 Jan 17 of natural causes. CPO Padama proudly served our Nation for over 22 years and retired in 1975. Among his many awards and commendations are the Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon, Navy Good Conduct Ribbon, Navy Expeditionary Medal, National Defense Service Ribbon and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. After his retirement, he joined the United States Postal Service, wand worked at the Washington Bulk Mail Center until his second retirement in 2002. Born and raised in the Philippines, Arturo Padama never forgot where he grew up and he remained active in the Filipino community wherever he was stationed. He leaves and large and loving family.
