ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of MSgt David Gignac has invited the patriot guard to stand in his honor at Barrancas National Cemetery. Trahan Funeral Home, 419 Yoakum Ct. is in charge of the arrangements. MSgt Gignac entered the service on 28 September 1970 and served honorable until 31 July 1991. There is no DD-214, however his term of service is evidenced by Department of Veterans Affairs letter dated 7 February 2017.

CAUTION: The Naval Air Station requires that we wear long sleeve shirts, long trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles and appropriate eyewear while riding on the base.

NOTE: Be advised that we me we are meeting our party at the main gate. A picture I. D. card that is issued by the Naval Air Station or a retired service I. D. is required to get on the base.
