ABOUT THE MISSION:
Remember, this is our opportunity to say thank you to these men and women while they are still with us. So far over 3500 of our WWII veterans have made the trip and 1700+ of our heroes from the Korean Conflict. As usual, World War II and Korea veterans and their guardians and medical staff will start arriving at Mitchell Airport at 5:00 am on September 16 and return home at 8:30 pm.
The public is not invited to attend the departure but the PGR are invited to stand a flag line to welcome the veterans and their escorts and assist with getting them and their personal effects from curb to check-in and assisting when they return.
