IF you have attended this mission in the past then you know how special it is to see their faces as they just can’t believe people who come out to see them or even care about them.  Please make plans to attend this year’s Honor Flight and show them how wrong they are.  You will be glad you did. \nWe will stage at 6:30 am Oct 13 at the Montgomery Street Gate at Hunter Army Air Field and depart at 6:45 to the Field House for our flag line to be set at 7 am . We will stand a flag line as the vets enter to register\, and assist as needed\, as they board the bus taking them north.  We will stand down immediately after they have boarded and mount up to escort them to the Interstate.for the first part of the mission\, We will travel to the Airport for send off of others that cannot ride the bus but must take air travel \nDirections: If you are coming from the West Come down I-16\, to 516\, around to E.Derrene Ave\, turn right on Montgomery St.  At the gate you will be required to get a visitor pass. You must have ID\, boots\, DOT helmet and a reflective vest to gain access. NO WEAPONS.     Arrive early enough to get your pass.
