ABOUT THE MISSION:
Fellow Riders,
It is with heavy heart that I must inform you that American has lost another True American Hero.
The friends of BM William Edward Sumrall have requested the Patriot Guard to Stand a Silent Flag line for their loved one. Mr. Sumrall passed away at the age of 78.
He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. Upon completion of his service with the Navy he enlisted in the US Coast Guard and served for over 6 years. Awards and commendations are unknown at this time. He received an Honorable discharge.
The Patriot Guard Riders will be honored to stand a SILENT FLAG LINE for a Memorial Service at American Legion Post 250, 10950 Dauphin Island Pkwy, Fowl River, AL 36582, at 12:00 p.m. for this True Patriot and Hero. Mr. Sumrall’s cremains will be interred at sea.
Mr. Sumrall stood many a hard day and night so that we might be safe and free. Now it’s our turn to Stand and Honor him for his service and sacrifice. Ride Safely!!
