John Ray Woodman, Veteran
USAF
Coopersville, Michigan – 09 Jul 2017
ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand a silent flag line in honor of John Ray Woodman. He was an Air Force Veteran and served as an Aircraft Mechanic on the C-130 Hercules at N. Charleston AFB , SC where he met his wife, Bonnie. He worked for Meijer Inc., starting out in one of the stores and worked his way up through the company to become a buyer. He thoroughly enjoyed tinkering around and doing woodworking around the house. He also enjoyed antique cars and belonged to the Grand Rapids Antique Car Club driving his ’64 Corvair Convertible in parades and other club outings. The only sport he ever watched was NASCAR – and his personal favorite was Jeff Gordon, whom he got to meet one. Brenda L Woodman is his daughter
