Michael Dale Andersen has requested our presence to Honor their loved one. \nHe was drafted into the Army in February 1969 and he served his country well. He attended basic training at Ft. Leonard Wood\, Missouri\, advanced training at Ft. Lewis\, Washington\, NCOC (Shake & Bake) School at Ft. Benning\, Georgia\, and training at Ft. Polk\, Louisiana. He earned the rank of Sergeant. After a 30 day leave\, he went to the Vietnam War\, where he received two Bronze Stars while with Company A\, 1st Battalion\, 52nd Infantry of the Americal Division’s 198th Infantry Brigade.
