ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of Commander Robert Benjamin Ward has invited the Patriot Guard to escort and stand in his honor at Barrancas National Cemetery. Commander Ward served 28 years, 11 months and 24 days in the United States Navy and retired 31 July 1978. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal with one star, Navy Reserve Medal, Navy Commendation Medal, European Occupation Medal, World War II Victory Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Navy Expeditionary Medal, and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. Commander Ward was also a retired Deputy Sheriff. All arrangements are entrusted to Oak Lawn Funeral Home, 619 N New Warrington Road, Pensacola FL. We will stage at Whataburger, 1313 New Warrington Road, Pensacola, Fl.
