ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of Vaughn L. Blake has requested the Patriot Guard to stand for their hero as he once stood for us. Vaughn L. “Monk” Blake, 93, of Albemarle, N.C., passed away in the N.C. State Veterans Home in Salisbury. Mr. Blake was a Veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force. Mr. Blake was also a member of Anderson Grove Baptist Church where he was formerly a choir member, Sunday School Teacher, Deacon and member of the Golden Years.
Please join us in honoring this American Hero of one of our greatest generations!

After briefing we will stand a flag line for family and friends arrival till 11:00 am when service begins. At this time we will stand down and wait for service to end and then escort Mr. Blake and family into the church cemetery for his interment with military honors.
