ABOUT THE MISSION:
Help on the Homefront Event: 6 April 2017
The Director of Ft. Bliss National Cemetery, Mr. Eldon A. Woodie, has requested the Patriot Guard Riders of Far West Texas to stand a flag line during the World War I Veterans Day Ceremony. The Veterans Administration will be conducting a nation-wide observance of America’s entry and involvement in World War I.
The United States declared war on the German Empire on April 6, 1917 and played a major role until victory was achieved on November 11, 1918.
The ceremony will be held at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery on Thursday 6 April at 3:00pm. 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. Ft. Bliss, TX 79906
