For current details on this mission\, please follow the link below. \nWWI Wreath Laying Commemoration Ceremony \n\nCanton\, Georgia – 06 Apr 2017\n \n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION:\nGeorgia National Cemetery to Honor the 100 year\nAnniversary of the United States Entering WWI \n\nA WWI Wreath Laying Commemoration Ceremony\nApril 06\, 2017 at 11:00 am \n\nThe Georgia National Cemetery\, Canton\, Georgia\, will commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the United States’ entry into World War I on April 6\, 1917 by conducting a wreath laying ceremony at 11:00 AM on Thursday\, April 6\, 2017\, at the Ceremonial Wall\, Assembly Area of the Cemetery. \nThe ceremony\, entitled “In Sacrifice for Liberty and Peace: Centennial Commemoration of the U.S. Entry in World War I\,” will be conducted by the Cemetery’s Assistant Director\, Francisco Gonzalez and will feature speakers as well as the wreath laying.
