ABOUT THE MISSION:

SHORT NOTICE
Dear PGR Members,

The family of MG2 Bertram Alpheus Duck has requested that the Patriot Guard stand in honor of their loved one. Mr. Duck, a resident of W.F. Green Veterans Home, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017, at the age of 87. He honorably served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Caloosahatchee AO 98 during the Korean War.

Mr. Duck received the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Navy Occupation Medal with European Clasp, and an Honorable Discharge.
It will be an honor to stand a Silent Flag Line for this True American Hero and escort him to his final resting place.

Visitation: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Norris Funeral Home, 402 East 2nd St., Bay Minette, AL
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. – Norris Funeral Home, 402 East 2nd St., Bay Minette, AL
Escort: Upon completion of Funeral service. LEO – YES. Honor Guard – YES.
Interment: Bay Minette Cemetery, Bay Minette, AL

Mr. Duck stood many a hard day and night for us NOW it’s our turn to stand for him.
