PFC Virgil Crabtree, USMC, WWII, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:
PFC Crabtree entered active duty in October 1943 and was honorably discharged in May 1946. He was qualified as a tank crewman and served in the invasion of Iwo Jima and the occupation of Japan where he earned $54 a month. PFC Crabtree received $167.27 and a good conduct medal with no offenses upon discharge.
It is an honor to show our respects for an Iwo Jima veteran
