For current details on this mission\, please follow the link below. \nFarrell Dean Dotson\, Veteran \nUSAF \nCanton\, Georgia – 04 May 2017\n \n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION:\nSadly\, I must report that Georgia has lost another of its Vietnam Veterans.Farrell “Dean” Dotson served his country in the Air Force serving honorably from 1966 until his final discharge in 1970. SSGT Dotson’s family has requested the Patriot Guard Riders stand for him during his Memorial service at the Georgia National Cemetery\, Canton\, Georgia. It will be our honor to do so. \nDean Dotson served in the Communication field as a teletype operator. He served on remote assignment at Incirlik Air Base Turkey and then final assignment at Warner Robbins\, Georgia. \nThe family will have services on 5/3 in Thomasville GA and then on 5/4 travel to Canton to Georgia National Cemetery. Both of Dean’s parents are interred at GNC. His father was USMC 1st SGT Maurice V Dotson who served in WW II\, Korea and until the start of Vietnam.\nIn speaking to his family they are so appreciative that the PGR will gather to honor his memory at both Thomasville and Canton.\nMilitary Honors will be given at GNC.\n\nPRIMARY STAGING DETAILS:  04 May 2017\n\nPrimary Staging Time:  12:45 P.M.\nPIC Building Parking\nGeorgia National Cemetery\n1080 Scott Hudgens Drive\nCanton\, Georgia – 30114\n  \n\nRide Captain:\nTom “Knobby” Walsh\npatriotguardrider.tom@gmail.com\n770-605-6903\n\nSpecial Instructions:\nThis is the first of two missions today.
