ABOUT THE MISSION:

We have been invited to attend the Annual Veteran’s Day Program at Spanish Fort Middle School. Please come to support our local veterans and teach our young people the importance of doing the same. We will begin by escorting Veterans from the WF Green Veterans Home in Bay Minette, AL to Spanish Fort Middle School at 33899 Jimmy Faulkner, Dr., Spanish Fort, AL. We will stand a flag line for part of the program. All veterans in attendance will be honored. We will not be escorting the Veterans Home bus back to Bay Minette.

Additional information: This program is being coordinated by one of our own PGR’s children, Jennifer McCrary (Tom Maynard’s daughter). The school has spent the week teaching the children about veterans which has included showing them a video about the History of the PGR, as well as a writing contest to be judged by the local American Legion. We would love to have great attendance for this program.
