Bushnell, Florida – 02 Sep 2017

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Frederick E. Hill Jr. has graciously requested the Patriot Guard Riders presence as they show their final respects and lay their loved one to rest.

Frederick faithfully served his Country with the the US Navy, Navy Reserves and the US Air Force. and performed duties as a Classified Communication Expert according to his family. Our Hero served during the Korean Conflict and also did 4 tours in Vietnam before retiring. His DD214 only shows the following decorations: National Defense, Good Conduct, United Nations, and Korean.

In his life following the military, the family told me he retired as a Correctional Officer with the state of Florida.

Frederick is survived by his wife of 63 years, and several off spring.

Please bring your 3 X 5 American Flags and stand in Honor and Respect for this true American Hero and his family. There will be a short non-leo escorted ride to Evergreen Cemetery in Bushnell.

There is a possibility that we might have to serve as Pall Bearers at the funeral home and also at the cemetery plus folding the Flag and presenting it to the family being it is on a weekend. Those RC’s with newer bikes have been given flash drives as I understand it from our State Captain to be able to play Taps when needed. If you have not tried this yet on your bike, please do so if needed.

Please hydrate.
