ABOUT THE MISSION:
On behalf of Post 392 Commander Winn,
It is with the greatest sadness that I must announce the passing of Past Post 392 and Past Department of Virginia Commander Douglas Keller. One of the most active members of the VFW, Doug fought valiantly over the past several years with a series of medical issues. Despite his worsened health, Doug continued his service to the VFW and veterans even after leaving his position as Department Commander. Always a staunch supporter of the VFW, the Department of VA, and most importantly, his brothers and sisters at Post 392, I know that Doug will be greatly missed. May you Rest in Peace, Master Chief Douglas Keller, USN, Retired. A slow hand salute in your honor, Sir.

It will include a safety briefing and any unique ride information known to our Ride Captain(s) that may be specific to the mission. *Member safety and well- being is always a principal ongoing concern. *Our Ride Captains are asked to stand down from any mission that cannot be accomplished in relative safety or unreasonable risk. *This includes both rides and flag lines in inclement weather and other conditions. *It remains each individual PGR member’s responsibility to ride within their own comfort zone and be cognizant of their surroundings and skill limitations as well as any physical needs or limitations. *If the ride and/or mission conditions present challenges beyond your skill, comfort, or needs, you are expected to exercise good judgment in foregoing any planned participation.
