ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of veteran Clair Harper has asked the Patriot Guard to stand in honor of his service to our great country. Clair was a veteran of WWII, and a B-17 pilot with the 483rd Bombardment Group, US Army Air Corps. The 483rd Bombardment Group played a significant role in the eventual defeat of Germany’s forces. Clair achieved the rank of Major.
