ABOUT THE MISSION:

We have been requested to stand in Honor of the U.S. Naval Service of James G. Walker of Williamsville, who passed away on October 28th. Mr. Walker served from 1945-1946, and was stationed at the Navy Base at Lido Beach, Long Island. He was Honorably Discharged on 23 July 1946 with the rating of Seaman 2nd Class, and earned the WW-II Victory Medal. Mr. Walker was a Past Commander of the A.J. Jurek American Legion Post #1672.

Funeral Service at the FH at 10:00 AM.
followed by Dignified Escort to St. Teresa’s Cemetery, Bloomingdale Road, Akron, NY. Burial with Military Honors.

The A.J. Jurek Post 1672 will participate in the Honors. Please arrive on time with a clean 3×5 American Flag or US Navy flag, dress for the weather, and ensure your large bike flags are properly placed and securely attached.

Please do whatever you’re able to help Honor the WW-II Naval Service of James Walker and to support his loving family.

Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
