DESCRIPTION:Starling Edward Powers\, 80\nUS Army Retired\nWilliamsburg\, KY\n27 AUG 16\n\n\n\nKentucky has lost another hero. \nWe have been invited by he family of Sergeant Starling Edward Powers\, age 80 of Williamsburg\, KY to stand in his honor. \nHe was retired from the United States Army 101st Airborne Division having served our country for over 33 years. \nHe served in the USMC in Korea and two tours of duty in Vietnam with the 1st Cavalry Division\, \nHe was a lifelong patriot and loved his country to the extent that he was willing to risk his life in battle.  It is now our honor to stand for this fallen hero.  The arrangements are as follows: \nThe funeral will be held:\nSaturday\, August 27\, 2016\nCrowley Funeral Home Chapel\n103 S 2nd St\nWilliamsburg\, KY \nwith burial at the Smith Cemerty in Nevisdale\, KY. \nStage at 11:45 a.m. at Croley Funeral Home and stake flags \n12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. – Stand Flag Line and briefing \n1:00 p.m.- Render Final Salute \nAt the conclusion of the service we will escort SGT Powers to his final resting place at the Smith Cemetary in Nevisdale.
