Stanley J. Stefaniak, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

We have been requested to stand in honor of the World War II service of Stanley J. Stefaniak of Medina, NY, who passed away on May 21st.

Mr. Stefaniak entered the U.S. Army on 30 August 1943, and became a member of the Corps of Engineers with an MOS of 081-Engineman Operator. He served in the Atlantic Theater of Operations for 14 months with Company A, 410th Engineer Construction Battalion. Mr. Stefaniak was Honorably Discharged on 18 January 1946 with the rank of Technician Fourth Grade. For his service to our nation, T/4 Stefaniak was awarded the Army Good Conduct Medal; American Campaign Medal and the WW II Victory Medal.

Mr. Stefaniak was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans and Medina VFW and Past Commander of the Medina American Legion.

Followed by escort to Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Burial with Military Honors.
Lincoln Post #1483 VFW & Butts-Clark Post #204 American Legion will participate.
Please arrive on time with a clean 3×5 American Flag or U.S. Army Flag and dress for the weather.
If you choose to ride, please ensure your large bike flags are properly placed and securely attached.

NOTE: We have two (2) other Missions in Region-1 on Wednesday, in Hamburg and Forestville. Please do whatever you’re able to help support one of these important missions.
