ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of CM 3rd Class Stanley Clark Wood, US Navy, WW II Veteran, has asked the Patriot Guard to stand in honor of their fallen Hero. CM 3rd Class Wood was a Carpenter’s Mate with the Sea Bees. He served from 8-8-1942 to 11-17-1945. He received several medals and ribbons. Graveside service will be at 10:00 am. at the Old Velma Cemetery in Velma, Ok. There will be a PGR accompaniment from Bailes-Polk to the Cemetery. The Stephens County Honor Guard will render full military honors at the cemetery.
