It is a most distinct honor and a privilege for the Patriot Guard Riders, at the family’s request, to stand a solemn flag line for United States Army veteran William “Bill” M. Volle, 74 years old, and to escort him to his final resting place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors. Volle proudly served in the US Army and the Army National Guard, serving during operation “Just Cause” in Panama and operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, retiring after 26 years. He attained the rank of Staff Sergeant.
