DESCRIPTION:We have lost one of our own\, Michael “Barney” Kennedy\, and the family of Barney Kennedy has requested our presence for military honors at the Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Tuesday\, 09 August 2016.  Barney proudly served our country for over 20 years in the US Army and is a Vietnam Veteran.  Barney supported many veterans organizations and was an avid PGR member.  His most recent position was chaplain of the local Combat Veteran Motorcycle Association. \nCVMA riders will lead an escort from Hatfield’s Funeral Home to the SAZVMC where PGR will intercept and lead the way to the staging and interment area.  For staging info on the escort contact “Top” CVMA at top6222@gmail.com. Military honors for Barney commence at 10:00 am at the cemetery.  Flag line flags will be provided by PGR. \nSTAGING INFO: \nLOCATION:  Entrance to SAZVMC\, 1300 Buffalo Soldier Trail\, Sierra Vista\, AZ w / 3×5 flags mounted\nTIME:  9:00 am\nBRIEFING:  9:25 am\nKSU:  9:30 am  ( upon arrival of the CVMA procession ) \nEscort Details (for those wanting to ride with the escort before and after the funeral): \nStaging for the escort is at the Hastings parking lot starting at 0745.  KSU to go to Hatfield Funeral home will be at 0815. \nBarney’s funeral service is at 0900 on Tuesday\, 9 August at the Hatfield Funeral Home on Hwy 92. \nThe escort to the Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery will depart Hatfield Funeral Home at approximately 0945.  The CVMA will be the lead element in the escort. \nA police escort is being looked into and should be available for the ride to the cemetery.   PGR riders will link up at the entrance to the cemetery.  \nThe Ceremony at the cemetery is scheduled for 1000.
