During his service he was awarded the Iraq Campaign Medal\, the Meritorious Service Award\, the Joint Service Commendation\, the Army Commendation Award (5th Award)\, the Army Achievement Award\, the Good Conduct Medal\, the National Defense Medal\, the Global War on Terrorism Medal\, the Korea Defense Medal\, the NCO Award\, the Army Service Ribbon and the Overseas Service Ribbon. \nThe Service will be conducted at Marion Graham Mortuary\, 1504 Gandy Street\, Jacksonville\, 32208 at 1100 (11:00 AM) where we will set a Flag Line.  Following the service (at approximately 1230 [12:30 PM]) we will escort (LEO escort provided) SSG Thorpe to the Jacksonville National Cemetery for his 1330 (1:30 PM) Committal. \nBouie served this country proudly and faithfully.
