SPC James Christian Paquette, 40, passed away on Monday, July 25 at Fort Wainwright, Fairbanks Alaska.
Christian’s true passion lay in serving his country. He entered the South Carolina Army National Guard in 2006 and served one tour in Afghanistan. Upon his return in September 2007, Christian transferred into full-time service in the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Wainwright as a wheeled vehicle mechanic assigned to C Company, 123rd Aviation Intermediate Maintenance Company.
He has touched the lives of so many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Christian proudly and gladly served his country in order to insure for his family the freedoms and protection for which our great country is known. We owe him our debt and gratitude for his sacrifice of service.
