The family of US Army SPC Christophe Goodrich, 35, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.

SPC Goodrich was a US Army veteran. He served honorably from 2006 to 2011, and was a combat veteran of the Global War on Terror having been deployed to both Afghanistan and Iraq. SPC Goodrich was medically retired in 2011.

For his service SPC Goodrich was awarded the Purple Heart, the NATO Afghanistan Service Medal (3rd Award), Army Achievement Medal (4th Award), Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal W/ 2 Campaign Stars, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal W/ Campaign Star, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (2nd Award), Combat Action Badge and the Driver & Mechanic Badge W/ Driver-Wheeled Vehicle(s) Clasp.

SPC Goodrich and his wife Luz both passed from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. They will both be interred at Miramar National Cemetery. They leave behind three children, 2 sons and a daughter ages 11, 8 and 3.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying this hero and his wife from the mortuary to their final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.
