Southern Lyon County USD 252 Honor Flight Project, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:
A group of Southern Lyon County High School students and staff have put together an “Honor Flight” of Veterans to go to Washington D.C. November 4th and returning on November 5th. Part one is the send-off in KS. Part two is the Welcome Home in MO. Check that forum for details. Southern Lyon County USD 252 Olpe/Hartford Kansas, 23 Veterans, mainly Vietnam era, a Dr, 2 Nurses, 2 teachers, the Superintendent, and a media person, 20+ student guardians as well as other support people. We have been honored to be asked to send off the Honor Flight as well as to welcome them home. Anyone interested in more information or in helping financially should contact Mike Argabright (620) 794-5049.
All Patriot Guard Riders, Legion Riders and all other Riders are invited to ride with us to escort this Honor Flight. If your schedule will permit such an early mission I know they would be thrilled to see you. They gave up so much more than a couple of hours of sleep. Please check the MO forum for details on the return part of the mission on November 5th.
