Snowball Express
Snowball Express
Arlington, Virginia – 12-07-19

PGR brothers and sisters, it’s that time of the year for our favorite mission.  For those of you that have participated in the past you definitely know why and if this year is the first time, I promise you will never forget it.  It’s a great way to start the Holiday season and don’t forget to wear your Santa or Elf hat or anything else that you think the kids might like and of course feel free to decorate your bikes if you like.
For some of the families it will be their first time to Washington, DC, but for all,  it’s the trip of a lifetime.  Snowball Express is the charity for the children of our fallen military Heroes.  Our mission consists of greeting the families and assisting them thru check-in security and escort them to the Gate where American Airlines (AA) decorates the Gate area and music and food are provided for the families.  This year’s theme is “Winter Wonderland.”  Depending on AA, once the families are on board on their way to Disney World, we will proceed to the tarmac and render a hand salute as the plane departs the gate.
