ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Patriot Guard has again been invited to participate in the send off for 9 magnificent Gold Star families. The Gary Sinise Foundation and American Airlines are sending these families to Disney World and other attractions for 5 days. Our PGR has participated in this for many years. Note Special Instructions.

We are staging at the American A. L. entrance at terminal 1 to save a little time. We will have a flag line and escort the families to the American check in, then thru TSA and to the boarding gate. Families are expected to arrive at 5:30am so please be prompt. USO is not involved this year. If you bring a gift make it generic and small. You MUST send me your FULL name, gender, and DOB as it appears on your license, birth certificate or State ID to get thru TSA security and see the kids off. I need this before 11/28. Send to email@example.com. Wear your Christmas hats and colorful outfits. Those going thru TSA remember to leave ‘Metal items” at home. Cages carpool if possible as parking is limited. Cameras OK.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.

SNOWBALL EXPRESS SEND OFF
The Patriot Guard Riders have again been invited to send off the Gold Star Families participating in this year’s Snowball Express.
Date: Friday, 30 Nov 12
Staging Time: 1530
Staging Location: The south gate of the Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport, located at the intersection of Reese Creek and Okalla Roads at the SW corner of Browns Cemetery (http://tinyurl.com/3x4f7fv ).
KSU: 1545-1600 PLEASE BE ON TIME! Once we are guided onto the tarmac, there will be no other riders allowed in the gate.
WX: Partly sunny, with a high near 76. South wind 10 to 15 mph.
1. NO WEAPONS.
2. We will establish a flagline/corridor on the tarmac for the families to walk through on their way to and from the aircraft.
3. This is not a sullen occasion, so clapping, cheering, handshaking and hugging IS encouraged as the families pass us!
4. Arrive hydrated and bring water for yourself & a buddy.
5. Check the weather and dress appropriately for the conditions.
