ABOUT THE MISSION:

Sidney Ernest Miller, Jr., 95, was another veteran from that great generation. Sidney Ernest Miller Jr. enlisted (Aug 1942) in the US Army and served in the Engineer Corp during WWII with several awards. After he got out of service, he then went to work for Southern Bell as a lineman and later became a foreman. During this time he joined the Naval Reserve and stayed in it for a while before getting out. Sidney Miller still wanting to be in the military, he then joined the SC Army National Guard and earned the rank of Command Sergeant Major (CSM) after retiring. CSM Miller, he had only two things to do and it was his family and the military. They were his only major missions in life. CSM Miller was a loving husband of (66) years with his lovely wife who is still holding the family together with her presents, was a loving grandfather and great grandfather. CSM Miller was an outstanding person who cared about all servicemen to include myself as I knew him as a veteran and a friend.

Briefing: 4:15 PM
After the briefing a flag line will be in place for the family and friends to arrive for the visitation from 5-7 PM. After the visitation, then the PGR will then return their flags to the flag wagon and return to their homes.

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.

Briefing: 1: 30 PM.
After the briefing a flag line will be in place for family and friends for the memorial service from 2-3 PM. The PGR will then stand down until the service is over, honors will be rendered as they place the veteran in the hearse. The PGR will then prepare for the escort with LEO to the cemetery for the veteran’s final resting place.

A flag line will be established and upon the arrival of the escort, then the riders will join in on the flag line. We will render honors when appropriate and after the service, quietly stand down and return flags to the flag wagon. The PGR will then return to their homes.
