Chief Hemingway’s family has requested that the PGR stand a silent flag line to honor his life and service. We are honored to accept.
Mr. Hemingway was a 20 year veteran that served in Vietnam. A member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Post 789.
His last overseas assignment was Thailand. His awards included Bronze Star, Army Commendation Medal, Republic of Vietnam Service medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/ 60 device. Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry, and the Meritorious Service medal.
Services:
Visitation will be 12-1:30 with a memorial service following. Then we will escort to Glenville for Burial at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
This memorial service will be a flag line and escort.
