ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of Sharon Lee Hanson Giesler, 75, has requested the Patriot Guard Riders participate in her Committal Shelter Ceremony at the Omaha National Cemetery and then escort the family back to Lincoln for the Celebration of Life service at the Colonial Chapel. Sharon Lee Hanson Giesler passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018. Born on September 3, 1943 in Rochester, Minnesota. Sharon was a veteran of the U.S. Women’s Army Corp during the Vietnam Conflict.

RIDE CAPTAIN FIELD DECISION: LINCOLN ESCORT
Following the Committal Shelter Service the Patriot Guard Riders are requested to escort the Family to the Celebration of Life service at the Colonial Chapel, 5200 R ST, Lincoln, NE 68504 – NOTE: Ride Captain Vogel will coordinate the escort staging at the cemetery but is not available to lead the escort to Lincoln. A volunteer is needed. The Lincoln escort will either follow the Funeral Coach or family cars. Safety being paramount – ride only if conditions permit. The Nebraska Patriot Guard Riders have been recognized by the National Safety Council and the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety for adhering to and promoting motorcycle safety. Ride Alert – Ride Safe.
