The mother of SGT Michael O. Pellegrino, U.S. Army Active Duty, was so appreciative and impressed with the PGR escort of her son from Atlanta, GA to Camden, SC that she has invited the PGR to attend his final services. It will be our honor to stand for him as he has stood for us in foreign lands, such as Afghanistan.

SGT Pellegrino was an 88M-Motor Transport Operator in the U.S. Army and deployed to Afghanistan. He died at Ft. Irwin, California.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 1st at 10:30 am
St. Matthews Baptist Church
759 Longtown Road
Lugoff, SC

With interment in the Ft. Jackson National Cemetery at 4170 Percival Road in Columbia at 1:00 PM.

MISSON DETAILS: Wednesday, 1 June 2016

STAGE: St. Matthews Baptist Church, 759 Longtown Road, Lugoff, SC

MAP: https://goo.gl/maps/7DbjS6d6fj52

NOTE: At this location there are two churches; the side one is St. Matthews Baptist Church.

Assemble: 9:00 am (0900)

Briefing: 9:30 am (0930)

Execution: After the briefing we will establish a flag line up until the beginning of the service, while a small group of bikes conduct an escort of SGT Pellegrino and the family to the church. Once the service starts, we will stand down and prepare for escort, while some go to the cemetery to prepare the flag line. After the service, we will conduct an escort to Ft. Jackson National Cemetery and join the flag line at the interment services.

NOTE: If you go straight to national cemetery arrive by 12:30 PM and meet at the Administration Office to receive a briefing from the RC in charge of the cemetery flag line.

Safety: To ride in the escort to the cemetery you must be at the briefing; we have been asked to fly our flags and we will not go more then 55 mph. Inspect your mounts to make sure your setup will handle these speeds; double check your mounts just prior to the escort. Our top priority is the safety of everyone so understand it is all about our safety.
