Fellow Riders,
It is with heavy heart that I must inform you that Alabama and America has lost another true American hero. The family of SGM James Lasalle Hood has requested the Patriot Guard to stand in honor of their loved one.
Mr. Hood was in the US Army and served during Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield. His Commendations and awards include the NDSM (2nd award), Bronze Star, Army Commendation Medal (2nd award), Army Achievement Medal (2nd award), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal (5th award), Southwest Asia Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars, Iraq Campaign Medal, Good Conduct medal, and an Honorable Discharge.
We will be honored to stand a silent flag line for Visitation and at the Committal Shelter.
You must attend the Briefing and Safety Briefing to Ride.
