SFC Neal Robert McCracken, 50

The family of SFC Neal Robert McCracken has graciously requested the Patriot Guard Rider’s presence as they show their final respects and lay their loved one to rest, followed by an escort to a Celebration of Life Ceremony. SFC McCracken served his Country honorably in the U.S. Army and performed duties as a Watercraft Operator.

During SFC McCracken’s military service, he completed tour-of-duties in Kuwait & Iraq, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Upon completion of his military service, SFC McCracken received an Honorable Discharge and awarded the Armed Forces Reserve Medal w/ M Device, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (2ns award), Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal (3rd award), National Defense Service Medal (2nd award), Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Non-commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon w/ Numeral 3, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Army Reserve Components Overseas Training Ribbon (2nd award), Expert Marksmanship Qualification Badge w/ Grenade Bar and a Sharpshooter Marksmanship Badge Rifle (M16).

During SFC McCracken’s post military service, he continued teaching elementary school children as a Technology Coordinator at Frontier Elementary School, Largo, FL. In 2010, he finished his travels to all 50 states. In June 2014, he married his wife Merrell and they enjoyed boating in the Intercoastal Waterway of Pinellas County. SFC McCracken loved following politics, playing with his dogs and enjoying friends.

Note: This is a two-part mission.

Part 1 is a Committal Service at Bay Pines National Cemetery, St. Petersburg.

Part 2 is an escort (approximately 2 miles) to American Legion Post 273 in Madera Beach for a Celebration of Life Ceremony.

Flag Bikes are strongly encouraged.
