DESCRIPTION:Kingston\, NH\nMichael Lee McAskill\, 44\, died Friday morning\, August 22\, 2008\, in Colorado Springs\,CO after a brief illness. Born on November 11\, 1963\, Michael was the son of Edward and Diane ( Greeley ) McAskill Sr. of Kingston . \nRaised in Kingston \, Michael was a graduate of Sanborn Regional High School with the class of 1982. As part of his 18 year military career\, he was a Sergeant First Class in the United States Army\, currently stationed at Fort Carson . This beloved son\, brother\, uncle\, and friend was deployed to Iraq \, twice receiving the Bronze Star Medal for exceptional meritorious service during combat operations. He also was appointed a Guardian of Freedom for his service in Kuwait and was awarded the NATO Medal for Service for serving in Bosnia-Herzegovina. . \nBurial with full military honors will follow the services in Pine Grove Cemetery \, Kingston . \nPatriot Guard has been invited to participate in the Graveside Portion of the Service.
