The Patriot Guard Riders Have been asked to stand and honor Kari William Metsch. SFC Metsch enlisted in the US Army on October 23, 1959 and retired after 20 years of honorable service to his country. He saw duty in Viet Nam and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, Good Conduct, Army Commendation, Vietnam Medal, RVN Commendation medal, with 2 overseas bars.
Services will be held at the Church of the Nativity, 20 East Ridgely Rd., Timonium Md 21093. Staging will be at the church at 9:15 with a briefing at 9:30. Flagline will be established at the entrance to the church following the briefing until the conclusion of the service at approximately 11:00.
Following the conclusion of services we will escort the procession for SFC Metsch to Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery in Owings Mills, Md. where we will stand our flagline in his honor.
Please bring your 3×5 handheld flags for the flag lines and something to drink to stay hydrated.
Weather is forecasted to be temps 71/90 degs with a 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms.
