Ladies and Gentlemen,

The family and friends of SFC James Perez have requested our presence in honoring their loved one’s life and his service to our country.

James was U.S. Army all the way, with 30+ years in. While celebrating James’ safe return from a tour in Kuwait, tragedy struck and James lost his life while saving his close friend. His family, friends, military brothers and sisters and the Band of Brothers MC will miss him terribly and will remember him as a Hero.

James is survived by his mother, his wife Renee, one of two sons, a daughter and her 2 y/o granddaughter who was his pride and joy. I’m told that Peyton has the baddest playhouse around…courtesy of Grandpa James.

SSG Christopher recounts, “When he wasn’t working…he was riding his Harley.” During his JBLM Celebration of Life it was said that he was a joker and easy to get along with but if you needed a boot in the the a**, he didn’t hesitate. He was a soldier’s soldier.

James served Combat tours in Afghanistan, Iraq and Kuwait. His military awards include: Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Iraq Campaign Medal with two Campaign Stars, Army Commendation Medal 4th Award, Army Achievement Medal 2nd Award, Army Good Conduct Medal 2nd Award, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal 5th Award, National Defense Service Medal with Bronze Service Star, Global War on terrorism Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon 2nd Award, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon 4th Award, Army Reserve Component Overseas Training Ribbon 3rd Award, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with “M” Device and 20 Year Silver Hourglass NATO Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Driver and Mechanic Badge.
