SFC Donald Hubert Kousman, 85, US Army, Retired, Vietnam Veteran, Bronze Star Recipient, Harker Heights, TX
The family of Sergeant First Class Donald Kousman has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral Service and Interment of their Loved One.
Donald served 26 years in the Army, retiring in 1974. Duty assignments included stated-side duty at Fort Benning, Fort Riley, Schilling Manor and Salina in Kansas, and Fort Hood. He also served three tours in Korea and one each in Japan, Vietnam and Germany. He received the following Military Awards: Bronze Star Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 2 Bronze Stars, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. Don was a member of the American Legion Post 223 in Killeen, VFW Post 3892 and DAV 29 of Harker Heights, 40 & 8 V-1031 in Killeen, the Chosen Few, and a member of St Paul’s Catholic Church in Harker Heights.
