DESCRIPTION:Please note that due to ongoing OPSEC/PERSEC concerns\, mission details are not shown in this posting. All relevant details about the Hero will be given at the mission briefing. \n\nThe Families and Fort Leonard Wood\, have requested the Patriot Guard Riders to support deploying Local Soldiers by providing an escort to these brave soldiers who are going into harm’s way in defense of our great nation. The mission time line will be as follows: \n7th Aug  (Sunday) \nBriefing : 2100 hrs (9 PM) Starbuck’s on Ft. Leonard Wood (Old PX parking lot by the commissary) \nMove to Departure Location: 2115 hrs to prepare for escort. \nSince this mission is being conducted on Ft. Leonard Wood\, Post regulations for PPE apply. The minimum requirement for PPE for motorcycle riders is as follows:\nDOT approved helmet\nProtective Eyewear\nOver the ankle foot protection\nProtective clothing to include long sleeve shirts\, long pants\, and full fingered gloves \nAccording to the newest version of Army regulation 385-10 (Army Safety Program) Dated 4October 2011\, Riders are encouraged to select PPE that incorporates fluorescent colors and retro reflective material but is no longer mandatory for wear. \nThe weather forecast for this time frame: Partly Cloudy\,  mid 70’s\, Chance of Precip: 10%\, Winds 5-10 MPH \nRide Captain In Charge\nDan McGowen\n573-433-9156
