My name is Tye Feist, I served with Henderson in Afghsnistan, I just learned of his death 3 days ago. I just want to tell his family that I am deeply sorry for their loss. He was a brother to me and closer than family. One of the best people I ever had the honor to meet in my life and serve with. Be proud of who he was and still is because he will always live within us. He is a apart of who we are forever. We will keep your son alive until they day we die.
Thank you patriot guard for attending my brother’s funeral. My family and I really appreciated it far more than you probably could imagine. Scott was very proud of his service and really missed being around other soldiers when he got out of the army. Scott truly loved his country and I think he would have been honored to receive the military burial that he did. I regret not making sure that the soldiers he worked with were informed of his death on time. Thank you, Tye, for replying to this post. It is the only thing I could find about Scott on the internet. Scott really cared about those he served with, whether they knew it or not. If you or anyone that served with Scott want to talk about him I am more than willing. I’m not going to put my information on the internet but if you served with him you will figure out how to get in touch with me.
RIP Brother. 1st Thess. 4:13
