ABOUT THE MISSION:
Scott Dearing, 47, of Havelock, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at his home.His memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at Grace Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Clyde Eborne.
Scott honorably retired from the United States Marine Corps, after 22 years, as Gunnery Sergeant was and Iraq war veteran and has earn numerous medals, after retirement he worked for FRC East at MCAS Cherry Point. As an active member of the community, many knew Scott through his business, Rising Phoenix Martial Arts in Havelock. His martial art achievements included Rank of Master in Tang Soo Do. He also coached Lacrosse for the Havelock Hornets. Scott loved the Lord and was an active member of Grace Baptist Church. He was a beloved husband and father
