ABOUT THE MISSION:
Santiago Luis Nevarez is a United States Navy Veteran. Santiago enlisted on Oct. 25, 2011. Santiago MOS was AT, Aviation Electronics Technician. Santiago received military training in Basic Military Training, Apprentice Technical Training, Aviation Warfare Apprenticeship, Avionic Technician I Level Class A1. On Oct. 24, 2015, Santiago was transferred to the United States Naval Reserve. Santiago’s last duty assignment was aboard the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75), Home Port: Norfolk, VA. Santiago saw 2 yrs, 10 months and 24 days of Sea Service.On Jan. 31, 2019, having completed his term of service obligation, Santiago was honorably discharged, having attained the rank of AT3. Aviation Electronics Technician, 3rd Class. Santiago was awarded Navy “E” Ribbon, Navy Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Pistol Sharpshooter Medal, Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist for his service to our Country.
