DESCRIPTION:Sanford Clark Gester\, 72\nUSCG – USMM Veteran\nPortland\, OR\n3/JUN/16\n\n\n\nLadies and Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders\, we have been requested to stand for Sanford “Sandy” C. Gester\, age 72.  After graduating high school in 1961\, he joined the USCG. \nHe served from 1961 to 1965 and was honorably discharged at the rank of FN (Fireman E-3). After he returned to the States he joined the Merchant Marines.
