ABOUT THE MISSION:

PGR has been graciously invited to stand a flag-line during the Memorial Service and celebration of life of LTC Samuel C. Work, USA.  LTC Samuel C. Work passed away peacefully in his home, in Stafford, VA, on June 22, 2019.  Sam was born in Washington,PA on March 25, 1942.  He went to Washington & Jefferson College in Washington ,PA and participated in the ROTC program.  He entered the USA on June 6,1964 as a Second Lieutenant.  Sam served two tours in Vietnam and was awarded the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Silver Star, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Bronze Star and Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Palm.  He also received an Air Medal, Bronze Star Medal,  Army Commendation Medal, Meritorious Service Medal and Legion of Merit.  Sam retired in 1984 as a Lieutenant Colonel after 20 years of service.  Sam loved his motorcycles and many other hobbies.  Sam is survived by his wife Marsha and a really big loving family.
